The EnCorps Teachers Program Career Pathway
EnCorps Teachers Program provides an effective pathway for professionals to successfully transition into math and science teaching and tutoring jobs in underserved public middle and high schools.

We facilitate opportunities for:

  • Tutoring, where you can begin to connect with the students and community in which you would teach.
  • Guest Teaching, where you can jump-start your experience working with students while working to obtain your Substitute or Full-Time Teaching credentials.
  • Substitute Guest Teaching, which allows you to enhance your teaching experiences and skills, allows principals to get to know you and lets you identify schools that are the best fit for you.
  • Full-Time Teaching, for those who wish to transition into math or science educator jobs in a low-income public middle or high school. You can even earn your teaching credential while teaching.

Full-Time Teaching

EnCorps provides support for professionals who want to transition into a math or science teacher in a California public middle or high school. You can earn a teaching credential while teaching- EnCorps is here to help you along the way!
