How To Apply

EnCorps Teachers Program enables committed second career professionals to launch careers in education as credentialed math and science teachers in under-served middle and high schools.  If you are considering teaching, we provide you with opportunities to explore teaching careers, from observing and tutoring in the classroom to testing the waters as a guest teacher. If you decide to pursue teaching or tutoring, we’ll support you every step of the way.

The Application Process

  • Attend an information session and find out if teaching is right for you.  Sign up here for an information session.
  • Begin your application.
  • Submit your application by the posted deadline.
  • Once your application has been submitted, EnCorps will review it and notify you if you have been selected to attend a Preliminary Assessment session. This is a chance for you to participate in a group and personal interview to determine if EnCorps will be a good fit for you.
  • If selected, you will start as an EnCorps Pioneer on the path to becoming a teacher!
